"We can vacuum."

Yes. We are roasting mini marshmallows on toothpicks—with candles stuck into a slice of bread in a pie-tin—in our apartment. (By the way, these are my roommates/friend. Andi lives a couple of doors down. Starting from bottom left to right--Kate, Andi, Dacia, Melanie and Amy. Monica is my other roommate and she wasn't here for our little adventure).
Just so you know, I had a huge internal debate on whether I should put this on my blog at all--since I am not exactly sure how my mother will react to this. No worries Mom! We were safe, and put the fire out all proper-like and took all the necessary precautions. However, I do not recommend that you do this at home, in fact, DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS AT HOME! (I always wanted to say that, you know how you watched those science shows, like Bill Nye the Science Guy, and they were always really careful to say that if they were experimenting with something potentially dangerous--you know, such as...fire.) Anyways, it was really quite funny, and really quite random. Afterwards we all looked at each other in amazement and were like: Heh, we just made a fire in our apartment.

It was one of the weirdest things we have ever done, and that is saying something because my roommates are pretty crazy. It all had started when Kate stuck some candles in a slice of bread so that Andi could have something to light on fire--if you don't know Andi you wouldn't understand--and there were some mini marshmallows out because we were drinking hot chocolate (It was snowing today. SNOWING!). Andi lit the candles with her lighter and stuck a marshmallow on the end of a toothpick and roasted it, and the rest is history. We even got chocolate chips and Golden Grahams so that we could have little tiny smores, and cut little slices of cheese and bread so we could have toasted cheese sandwiches. Then Dacia said, "Our house smells like campfire now--" Then Melanie said, "We can vacuum." and we all laughed.

So that was what happened today. Now I need to focus and actually get my homework done because I have procrastinated it to the point of ridiculousness. Of course, according to Aristotle's Poetic's, “what we mean by “the ridiculous” is some error or ugliness that is painless and has no harmful effects.” So, according to that definition, ridiculous procrastination is an ugly thing, but it can't painful...right?

No, it can be painful. Oh well. I just need to go do it and get it out of the way.

Well, thats all from the crazy college student for now. Adios!

P.S. Remember kids--Don't try this at home!
